A1Prime.com LLC ("A1 Prime," "we," "us") provides online continuing education for Alaska's electrical industry. This policy explains what we collect and who else handles it.
What we collect
When you email us. Your email address, your name if you include it, and what you write. We keep correspondence so we can answer follow-ups.
When you buy a course. Payment is processed by PayPal. We receive your name, email address, and confirmation that payment succeeded. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or bank details.
When you take the course. Your course and exam are hosted by ClassMarker, our testing partner. They collect your name, email address, answers, score, and completion date. We receive your completion record so we can issue your certificate and answer questions if the State audits your renewal.
When you browse the site. Google Analytics collects standard analytics data — approximate location, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and block attacks.
We don't collect Social Security numbers, license numbers, or financial account details. Don't send them to us by email.
How we use it
To deliver the course, issue your certificate, answer your questions, keep records the State may ask you to substantiate, and understand how the site is performing. That's the whole list.
Who else handles it
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information.
Four providers necessarily handle some of it: PayPal for payments, ClassMarker for the course and exam, Google for our email and site analytics, and Cloudflare for site delivery and security. Each has its own privacy policy.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or if the State of Alaska asks us to verify a continuing education record.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies to measure traffic. Block or delete them in your browser settings if you prefer — the site works normally without them. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Purchase and completion records: at least seven years. Alaska randomly audits renewals, licensees must retain proof of continuing education for four years under 12 AAC 02.960, and students regularly ask us to re-issue a certificate from an earlier cycle.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS behind Cloudflare. Payment data never reaches our systems. Course data is held by ClassMarker. No system is perfectly secure, but we don't hold the kind of data that makes a business worth attacking, and that's deliberate.
Children
Our courses are professional continuing education for licensed adults. The site isn't directed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top will change when we do.
